After School Sports Program
The purpose of this program is to teach and exemplify the basic human and Christian values of sportsmanship, cooperation, and teamwork. The goals are to help foster friendships, provide leadership opportunities and help the students develop a positive attitude toward sports and athletic competition. This program is not a “play to win at all costs” program. It is anticipated that every student will be given the opportunity to play in each game during the regular season.
Coaches
The success of our sports program is largely based on the graciousness of our staff and parents who have offered their time to work as coaches.

Equipment
The school, through the Athletic Director, will provide the necessary equipment to run practices and compete in games. Equipment will be issued to coaches at the beginning of the season and must be returned at the end of each season.
Insurance
All students in diocesan schools participate in the student accident insurance program. This Catholic Mutual insurance plan provides supplemental benefits for students injured at school, on the playgrounds, while participating in athletic games, and while directly going to or coming from school-sponsored activities. In the event of illness or injury during school hours where medical treatment becomes necessary, the parentsโ insurance policy provides the primary insurance coverage. Supplemental insurance is intended to cover any expenses not paid for by the parentsโ primary medical insurance. Claim forms are available in the school office or from the bookkeeper. Forms must be completed within three months of the accident. All serious injuries are to be reported to the Athletic Director or Principal within twenty-four hours.
